Traditional Stone Crofthouse

Featured in BBC Travel Show 1998 With majestic views of the mountains: Foinavon, Arkle, Ben Stack, this traditional stone-built white cottage is set on the hill above Loch a’Chadh-Fi, the sheltered sea loch leading off the north side of Loch Laxford. Accessible only by foot or by boat, the croft house is part of our small settlement at Lower Ardmore, on the edge of the most northerly natural woodland on the West coast of Scotland. This is a sanctuary for wildlife. Far from the road and sounds of traffic, from your window you could see otters, seals, badgers and numerous field and sea birds.
